From the Pastor’s Desk – 23rd July 2021

Dear Church Family,

Half of the year 2021 is over, we are in the second half of the year and before we realize it, the year will be over, time does fly. Life is made up of time and it would not be wrong to say that life flies, for life is made up of time and God wants us to be wise with how we invest time, for time is life.

If God asks us to send a report of the last six months, What would you write and what would it look like? Would you be happy to present it to God?

Let us reflect upon the first half of the year. How did we spend it? If we are asked to evaluate it. What would be the result? On a scale of 1 to 10.  How would we rate ourselves? We are also aware that all of us will appear before God, as we read in 2 Cor.5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad”.

Apostle Paul had a goal in life, he states that objective in Phil.1:22 “But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labour”. He was laser focused on the objective he had for his life. At the end of his life he was fully content and this was his evaluation, ” For I am already being poured out as a drink offering and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the righteous judge will give to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing”. 2 Tim.4:6-8. God will reward us if our life pleases Him. Let us  seriously think about how we  invest our time.

Let us have an eternal perspective as we reflect for one day we will have to stand  before Him and give a report about our life.Have a blessed week.
